My name is Kim and I have lived in the Chicago area all my life. I have worked for a major airline as a flight attendant for many years, and although I have traveled extensively, I always love coming home.

I absolutely love the seasons in Chicago… Fall with its jaw dropping shades, the smell of Spring after it rains, and Summer with... oh, don’t even get me started on the flowers, the flowers everywhere! Brimming from containers, blooming from trees, and gardens so lush they could make a rainbow envious!

Then there’s Winter . I have never really minded cold weather and I actually love (yes, love) snow. I love how it looks, how it feels and I love the feeling that surrounds cold weather: cozy fireplace and homemade soup on the stove.
So you must wonder, for someone who loves snow and cold weather how did I get involved in floral design? I may love winter, but mostly because I know it won’t last forever.

The thing is… I wanted the colors of each season and beautiful scents to last longer than nature would allow.

So I started creating my first couple of floral designs just for myself. I made an arrangement once in November and did not put it away until July! No, I am not someone who keeps their tree or lights up after Christmas; I just could not part with the beauty and fresh look that the lush green design accented in white flora gave the room. So I kept going and soon, and a business blossomed! Ha!

I love working with interior designers, real estate agents, home stagers and accessory shops looking for an easy way to add color to enhance the design of a home or retail space.

My designs play up the simplicity in nature that comes alive with each changing season. I lightly scent each arrangement with natural oil. Each design is unique… some traditional and some whimsical. I hope you enjoy looking at them, as much as I do creating them.
